FAQ
What is Layers?
A launchpad and discovery site for Pump.fun coins, with a Layers account and built-in Solana wallet.
Is Layers a wallet?
Every account gets a self-custodial Solana wallet. Layers does not hold its key.
Do I need Phantom?
No. Your Layers account comes with its own wallet.
Where is my wallet address?
On your Account page.
Can I recover my wallet?
No. The private key is shown once and Layers never stores it.
How much does a launch cost?
Exactly 0.05 SOL in total, shown before you fund anything. You are never charged more.
Why is 0.05 SOL required?
It is the fixed total cost of each launch. It covers creating your coin on Pump.fun and network costs; whatever remains after a successful launch is kept by Layers as its launch fee. It is never changed silently.
What if my launch fails?
If your coin is not created, the remaining SOL (minus unavoidable network fees) is refunded with Solscan proof — automatically to your Layers wallet if signed in, or to a wallet you enter at that point if you launched as a guest. Successful launches are not refunded.
Why does each launch use fresh wallets?
So every launch has its own clean, traceable deposit and deploy addresses that are never reused.
What happens if payment isn't detected?
The launch page checks the deposit wallet automatically every few seconds. If it doesn't pick up your payment within a minute, check the transaction on Solscan and keep the page open — it continues as soon as the funds land.
Can I cancel a launch?
You can delete drafts at any time. Rules for funded launches will be published before launching opens.
Where can I see my coins?
On your Account page and your public profile.
What is a launch mode?
A themed set of presentation and disclosure rules. Trading is always normal Pump.fun trading.
What if Dexscreener has no chart yet?
New coins can take a while to appear. Layers shows a placeholder until data exists.
How do buybacks work?
Every 10 minutes Layers intends to buy and burn $FEES, publishing Solscan proof for each cycle. Not live yet.
Where can I see burns?
On the Buybacks page, once cycles begin.
